The Titus Ten
Chapter 9 concluded, “Zeal”
- “The more we go after God, the more God’s Spirit puts a zeal in our spirit.” (Pg 194)
- All day, every day. It can’t be less than this.
- “One of our primary motives in fighting sin should be our desire to be zealous for God.” (Pg 195)
- And this is why it can’t be less than “all day, every day,” because, if it is less than that, the door for sin opens.
- “You must actively pursue things that fuel the fire of zeal for God and actively kill those things that put the fire out.” (Pg 195)
- And if the door to sin opens, the fire is going to go out.
